I note with great interest John G Stackhouse JR’s arguably brilliant article

Peace under Islam requires submission.

It is noteworthy that the holy books of both Islam and Christianity have

material that has resulted in the mass murder of Jews by the million over

many

hundreds of years.

From the anti – semitic rantings of Paul in The New Testament to the Crusades,
the pogroms and much more; to expelling Jews from just about everywhere when

it suited the population, to sickening infinite manifestations of that age – old
sport of the Church:

Jew hatred.

Jews have suffered in real – time.

Therefore I find Stackhouse’s mention of the Canaanites as a perhaps understandable
if misplaced attempt at protecting himself in trying to find - something on the Jews.

But it is not as if the Christians who would issue a fatwa against him, of course.

But it is a stretch to bring the Canaanites into it. Prolix discussion is sadly out of
the realm of this short epistle.

However I verily say to Christians: long may the Pope apologize for what his
previous antecedents did to Jews.
Long may you try to find similarly strained corrolaries through the ages.
It is what people actually do that counts: the paucity of material against
Jews makes these claims laughable. If it was not so serious.
It is so demonstrably a chimera to mention ‘’incitements to violence’’ in terms
of the Canaanites. The BBC was not there to record it.
Next, someone will mention the Philistines as per the fraud that is current scam
per Israel’s current antagonists - Palestine, as being similarly analogous / adverse to Jews.

Perhaps Stackhouse in this way will be able to claim some sort of oblique,
even – handed historicity and seek protection from the fanatics of Islam?
I understand this – and I wish

him a long and healthy life.
