Amendments to the Racial Discrimination Act 1975
Hereunder are my comments which should be view with my  ‘’RDA’’ entries as above blogs.
1
FUREDY
I have seen The Australian making heroic efforts to distort the 18c debate [henceforth ‘’RDA’’] over the past few months. This distortion is exemplified by their publication over almost 2 weeks the lamentable, extraordinary ideas of  John J. Furedy, Darling Point, NSW
There are so many strange things here. I do not know whether I will devote time to analyse the scores of insults to my parents – they too were survivors of the holocaust.
YES – I AM JEWISH!
My parents were indeed survivors of Nazi barbarism!
My opinion – AND THE VAST MAJORITY OF JEWS*** is just as viable as Furedy’s!
2
Just read the socialist pap of Furedy:
A boyhood scepticism of powerful agendas built an unassailable view that speech was better when it was free, even for Holocaust deniers, and led to Professor Furedy this week backing proposed revisions to the Racial Discrimination Act.
PUHLEEZ!
He was already a socialist twirp as a boy? He had this view about ‘’powerful agendas’’? Get real – this is referring to those who hunted Nazis! Sick!
3And the title of the article is absurd. As can be seen from the link – Furedy lacks original titles at best: VELVET TOTALITARIANISM is everywhere in his work:
4But leave that all for now – he is of the left – thus his freedom of speech values never encompass that there is no such thing!
It  is a responsibility – not a unilateral right couched in waffled troglodyte phrases like VELVET TOTALITARIANISM, powerful agendas; or idiocies / obscenities like this:
‘’His father and two uncles were sent to different labour camps. The uncles perished somewhere in Ukraine. His father, Bela, survived only because a German colonel’s instincts to win the war were greater than his instincts to kill Jews.
“He told my father if you work like a soldier, you’ll be fed like a soldier — and he was,” he said.
Professor Furedy said free speech wouldn’t have saved the Jewish people under Hitler — “there were so many other factors at play” — but was adamant it was the best way to defeat bigotry.
“The only protection against stupid speech is better speech,” he said.’’

5AND THIS: simply imbecilic!
‘’He said he did not believe minority groups needed special protections, even where they had to fight back with ideas against a powerful person with a stronger platform.’’
OH YES – FUREDY AGAINST THE NAZIS? THE MAN DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HIDE!

6AND THIS:
Notorious Holocaust-denier and anti-Semite Ernst Zundel was in the midst of a deportation battle with the Canadian government when Professor Furedy wrote a letter to the National Post newspaper defending his right to free speech. “I have long been disgusted by Zundel’s publicly stated, anti-Semitic opinions,” he wrote in 2005.
“Nevertheless, as one who has had first-hand experience of ... ‘fear societies’ in the form of the Nazi and Soviet tyrannies, I have, since 1987, defended, in print, Zundel’s right to publicly state his disgusting opinions because I did not want to see a Canadian shift towards the fear end of the free-fear continuum.”
The same shift, he says, could happen in Australia and Senator Brandis is right to correct it.
7
  • Let it be understood that Furedy is allowed to be such a creature of the left that his entire raison d’etre is the urge he has in supporting modern day nazis.
  • Let it be understood – he can be discovered by The Australian and for The Oz to publish derivations of Furedy via the letters and op Ed pieces for a very long 8 days!
  • Let it be understood that I can argue to the contrary!
  • Let it be understood that The Oz editorial denies democracy to Jews! see below! They vitiate the majority view!!
‘’Some within the Jewish diaspora disagree with the organisations’ official line. Such individuals know that majority or official opinion among any group is not necessarily always right.’’
‘’...always right. Many racial and religious groups, including Jews, have learned, that lesson at vast and painful cost through history. Free choice, including opposition to cultural coercion, was one of the 10 founding principles of Israel,HUH?????? which is also a good reason for respecting dissenting views. HUH????

MORONIC EDITORIAL Smothering free exchange of ideas a dangerous path

Comment from gs:this article is imbecilic at best! My extreme language is justified - not the least because of this:

Nor, in Australia, has the controversial Section 18C of the RDA prevented a 21 per cent increase in the number of reports of racist violence directed at individuals or Jewish facilities in the past year. That disturbing trend is a good reason for open debate and the airing of grievances, to allow them to be dealt with by rational, sensible argument.
10
DERSHOWITZ
It was not enough for the Oz what they did with Furedy – they published the abysmal self – contradictory article by Alan Dershovitz.
More to come on this.
11
JAMES ALLEN
Allen is a Garrick [who is Garrick?] Professor law of Qld Uni: he should have been ashamed of writing this tripe insult – a biased piece of
self – absorbed  rubbish! What an insult to Mr Mundine. The article is a travesty.
More on this too.
12But here is the ‘rub’
These two very biased articles were published NEXT TO EACH OTHER – promoting  the same side!
Almost unprecedented for The Oz to be so manifestly incapable of realizing how silly they look.
13These – and other articles are laden with mere unilateral freedom of speech espousal.
And no mention of the responsibility.
But the worst by far is this.
ALL articles seemingly claim via various insipid phrases that one must listen to the ultimate evil under the freedom / speech moniker!
  1. Oh – and so many new cliches are created – like the market place of ideas...
  2. fee exchange of ideas
  3. realm of ideas
  4. first casualty / speech...
I could list scores more.
14But the worst idea is the plain scenario that one should sit down in deferential obscenity with those who would deny the essence
of MY VERONKA!!
Whither art though, free exchange of ideas – with those who would claim that Hitler did not murder enough of us??!!
Or that the Jews bashed on the way home from synagogue should encourage ‘’airing of grievances’’? See below!!

Smart Meter allergy: Also known as Asinity  Sympatico Syndrome. [ASS]
I heard a woman complaining on radio 3AW yesterday complaining about her ‘Electro – Hypersensitivity’ to Smart Meters. Also known as Asinity  Sympatico Syndrome. [ASS]

It is understood by those who ‘know’ that it is a manifestation of the plethora of conservative governments trying change voting patters.

These nefarious Smart Meters are simply a conspiracy to try to make Labor voters ‘smart.’ The poor woman was simply showing the standard leftist reaction to being on the wrong side of the Bell Curve.

She should be patient till she stops getting stupider; when the Bio – Electric effect kicks in before the next election.

Pathetically there is a government department studying this problem under the guidance of Project leader: A/Prof. Rodney Croft

Sad really: people should be allowed to vote for Labor if they want. The Human Rights Commission is investigating.

Smart meters are not dangerous
There are a lot of myths about how smart meters work and their effects on wellbeing and property. It’s important to know that there is no evidence that smart meters pose any danger to your property or health. Smart meters have been installed in homes and businesses around the world with no ill-effects experienced by occupants.
Myth: Smart meters emit high levels of microwave radiation.
Smart meters do not emit microwave radiation. They communicate using radio frequency, which is the same spectrum used by television and radio stations. Smart meters use extremely low, infrequent signals and will not emit any more radio frequency than what is already present in most households.  Radiofrequency levels from smart meters are lower than those produced by common household appliances like microwave ovens, mobile phones and baby monitors. The meters use a wireless signal to transmit around four times a day for 10 seconds at a time. This signal is only active for an average of one minute a day.
Myth: The health effects of radio frequency have not been researched properly
As part of the smart meter rollout in Victoria, the State Government commissioned independent testing to ensure smart meters do not pose health risks to the community.  Results showed that meter exposure levels inside dwellings ranged from 0.000001 to 0.0113 per cent of the General Public Limit specified by ARPANSA Radiation Protection Standards.[i]
In a study on radio frequency energy and mobile phones, the World Health Organisation found no increased health risk due to radio frequency.[ii] Unlike mobile phones, smart meters do not operate at close range and emit significantly less radio frequency. Also, smart meters are on for mere seconds each day and are in ‘sleep’ mode most of the time.
Myth: Energy companies will use smart meters to turn off appliances in my house without my permission.
Smart meters are not set up to operate appliances inside your home or business. No-one can use a smart meter to remotely switch off an appliance inside your home.
Myth: Smart meter malfunctions cause fires
There is no evidence that smart meter malfunctions cause fires. In fact, in Victoria, where smart meters have been installed in almost every property over the past three years, installers uncovered thousands of electrical faults and hazards in existing meters that were able to be fixed before they caused fires. There has not been a fire that can be attributed to a smart meter in Victoria – they are extremely safe. The meters must meet the highest safety standards and may only be installed by a specially accredited master electrician who has undertaken specific training.
Myth: Information sent from my smart meter will alert people to when I am out of my home, leaving me vulnerable to burglary
The information sent by your smart meter is on a protected frequency, making extremely difficult for anyone to access it to find out when you are out of your home.

Imbeciles Galore!

Subject: IMBECILES GALORE!
I will be posting this item on my blog in the next few minutes, with various links to show what an immoral mess our troika of Jewish community groups have made.
The ECAJ
ZFA
The Zionist Council Of Victoria.
These lunatics were so jealous of Shurat Hadin for DARING to take action against the BDS entity in Sydney Uni – that they set out to actively undermine Shurat Ha Din.
It was an astonishing act of treachery. Sadly it was also imbecilic as it fails to get to any standards of primary school logic.
I was thinking of making a comparison with Kindergarten playtime – but that would have been too brutal: and maybe even incorrect as little children have no airs about them!
They learn consideration to authority figures in primary school.
LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!
SURPRISE!!!
Let them be thoroughly ashamed of themselves: it all encouraged the judge – who in my opinion made basic errors in law – encouraged in that he had community support!
Well – I have news for the judge: this is not so.
The vast majority of Jews can see the  humbug from the troika!
Let it be understood that at least one person is prepared to expose them – Geoff Seidner!
Oh – by the way – to the eternal credit of Danny Lamm Danny admitted months ago -  that whatever the merits of the case- the judge would be influenced by the troika!
‘’COULD BE’’ he admitted.
It is time the troika admitted what they did and gave support to Shurat Ha Din!
REAL SUPPORT!
May Hashem forgive them thus!

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry has issued a statement detailing their reasons as to why they are not aligned with Israeli Human Rights group Shurat HaDin’s move to litigate against a NSW professor who advocates BDS against Israeli academics.
Peter Wertheim
Peter Wertheim
In a prepared statement, executive director of The Executive Council of Australian Jewry, Peter Wertheim states: “The campaign to boycott academic and other contacts with Israel is repugnant to all who sincerely seek a just and lasting resolution of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians,” said Peter Wertheim, the Executive Director of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ). “The path to a just peace is through mutual engagement, not vilification. Contacts between Israeli and Palestinian academics should be encouraged and facilitated by their Australian and other colleagues, not stigmatised.”
The ECAJ has long been a vocal critic of the anti-Israel boycott campaign. “The boycott campaign is a calculated attempt to demonise, isolate and ultimately dismantle Israel through the distortion of international law and human rights. The hate-filled protests outside Max Brenner chocolate shops and the ill-considered scheme of Marrickville Council to boycott Israeli products at a cost of millions of dollars to its rate-payers, which was subsequently abandoned, have rightly been condemned and derided by most Australians. All major parties including the Greens, except for a handful of their MP’s, disavow the anti-Israel boycott campaign” Wertheim said.
“The ECAJ believes that the most appropriate and effective way to combat the boycott campaign is to expose its deceptive and sometimes racist rhetoric, methods and aims public scrutiny. In our view, attempts to suppress the campaign through litigation are inappropriate and likely to be counter-productive. It is for this reason that the ECAJ has had no involvement in the action brought by Shurat HaDin and will continue to fight the boycott campaign through public discourse. If any individuals believe they have been adversely affected by racially discriminatory policies and practices of the Centre for Peace and Conflict  Studies they are entitled to have their day in court, but we are opposed to litigation if it is pursued merely as a political tactic.”
Asked whether he believes that all criticisms of Israel are antisemitic, Wertheim answered “No. Israel is a vibrant pluralist democracy and its citizens – Jews, Bedouin, Druze and other Israeli Arabs – are often its most incisive critics. But it is also false to suggest that no criticisms of Israel are antisemitic. There is clearly an overlap, as has been acknowledged by the European Agency for Fundamental Rights, the United Kingdom All-Party Parliamentary Inquiry into Antisemitism, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the members of pa

The Balmain basket weaver and Bob Carr

BLOG ARCHIVE

Subject: The Balmain basket weaver and Bob Carr
Only a Balmain basket weaver and Palestinian activist could so gainlessly claim for Bob Carr multiple disingenuous merit in  mutually -  exclusive scenarios.
Letters 12/4.
  • ‘’A liberal Israeli human rights view’’
  • And ‘’ pro-Israel, pro-Palestine, pro-peace view’’ –
  • And then haplessly, nay hopelessly claim utopia via the ‘’end of settlement expansion, the end of occupation’’,
  • And ‘’a viable resolution that allows for Palestinians and Israelis to live as neighbours.’’
Phew.
He plainly ignores a non – people stealing Palestine as a nomenclature. They who plainly have had no other goal since the dawn of their terrorist origins other than unsuccessfully trying to destroy the only democracy in the Middle East. And not even bothering to deny it.
Maybe Mr Mills thought no one will check his unilateral, dystopian Palestinian rewriting of history of the world which Carr obviously shares.
How uncute was  his outrageous, asinine 2013 Israel - boycott attempt in lecturing Australia post re postal matters. http://www.australiansforpalestine.net/82314
He has form and no shame: no other nation would allow perennial losers to gain launching ground for avowing murder by the plaintive pleading through useful idiots like him.

Diary reaction puts our sense of humour in danger

BOB Carr has done a great service to our country and to the Middle East through his diary and his time as foreign minister. Carr has championed a liberal Israeli human-rights view — albeit a minority view in Israel today — and courageously criticised factions who seek to justify the greater Israel settlement and expansionist view such as promoted by various sections of mainstream Israeli politics, and its Australian supporters.
Carr supports the right of pro-Israel lobbyists to push their perspective. However, Carr’s point is that the pro-Israel perspective being most forcefully pushed is unhealthy and contrary to a pro-Israel, pro-Palestine, pro-peace view that ensures the end of settlement expansion, the end of occupation, and a viable resolution that allows for Palestinians and Israelis to live as neighbours.

G Triggs, Tim Wilson, Human rights Commissioner and

Shyakira

This screed has been prepared in a rush: further information can be proffered if i am deemed to have not proven my case that Carr is guilty of demonizing Jews in general and the nation of Israel in particular – all basis the indubitable values of  your Charter.

I request that the Human Rights Commission looks at what the former Foreign Minister Bob Carr has been saying in various formats over the years.
And in particular yesterday and today. See my other links encapsulating it all in greater detail.

As I am writing this the 1 pm  news on ABC radio lead news shows Carr being lacerated by even Labor politicians – saying ‘’his book should not have been published.’’
I guess Carr will blame the Jewish Lobby for this too!
In the first instance I provide  a partial cut and paste entries from ABC TV programme 7 30.

Carr has been demonizing the Jewish community and it’s leadership for years; simultaneously claiming he means well.
There are many classical anti – semitic themes – and one of Carr’s worst are as follows. Broadly -

Jews dominate the media / control the media / Jewish control of world / media / undue influence and more.
Oh by the way – his defence – if that is what you call it – is that his attack is on Israel – not Jews!
See the above – another trope of anti semites is to also ignore the late great Martin Luther King – see links below!

Close reading reveals that Jews are responsible for the slave trade!
WHY FOR HEAVENS SAKES DID CARR DROP HIMSELF INTO IT?? See below!

SARAH FERGUSON: Let's go to the book. The strongest criticism of all in the book is aimed at the Melbourne Jewish lobby. Now, there are lobby groups for every cause under the sun. What's wrong with the way that group operates?

BOB CARR: Well the important point about a diary of a Foreign minister is that you shine light on areas of government that are otherwise in darkness and the influence of lobby groups is one of those areas. And what I've done is to spell out how the extremely conservative instincts of the pro-Israel lobby in Melbourne was exercised through the then-Prime Minister's office. And I speak as someone who was in agreement with Julia Gillard's agenda on everything else. But I've got to say, on this one, I found it very frustrating that we couldn't issue, for example, a routine expression of concern about the spread of Israeli settlements on the West Bank. Great blocks of housing for Israeli citizens going up on land that everyone regards as part of a future Palestinian state, if there is to be a two-state solution resolving the standoff between Palestinians and Israelis in the Middle East.

SARAH FERGUSON: You're saying that the Melbourne Jewish lobby had a direct impact on foreign policy as it was operated from inside Julia Gillard's cabinet?
BOB CARR: Yeah, I would call it the Israeli lobby - I think that's important. But certainly they enjoyed extraordinary influence. I had to resist it and my book tells the story of that resistance coming to a climax when there was a dispute on the floor of caucus about my recommendation that we don't block the Palestinian bid for increased non-state status at the United Nations.

SARAH FERGUSON: They're still a very small group of people. How do you account for them wielding so much power?
BOB CARR: I think party donations and a program of giving trips to MPs and journalists to Israel. But that's not to condemn them. I mean, other interest groups do the same thing. But it needs to be highlighted because I think it reached a very unhealthy level. I think the great mistake of the pro-Israel lobby in Melbourne is to express an extreme right-wing Israeli view rather than a more tolerant liberal Israeli view, and in addition to that, to seek to win on everything, to block the Foreign Minister of Australia through their influence with the Prime Minister's office, from even making the

most routine criticism of Israeli settlement policy using the kind of language that a Conservative Foreign secretary from the UK would use in a comparable statement at the same time.
