Dear Chris Mitchell, Nick Cater
Letters Editor
The Australian

Gentlemen,
I am very upset that you have allowed [the usually esteemed] Christopher Pearson to at best distort the tenets of Judaism.

Kindly pass this on to Rupert Murdoch – and publish the below as is appropriate.

Jesus distortions re Judaism et al in THE OZ!!!!!!

Christopher Pearson in Potent symbols of a life more than our own Commentary 5/1/13 claims illogically that Judaism and ''men of goodwill'' from every religion accept Jesus - ''acknowledge him as 'Messiah.'''

Not only is this not true - it is an absurd oxymoron to effectively claim that other religions accept the basic tenets of Christianity and somehow, manifestly remain non - Christians!

Jews, Muslims Hindus and even the Scientologists claiming descent from thetan aliens would surely rail against being so seconded.

The Australian should create a religious column where Pearson should be encouraged to hopefully write his beliefs - without innate distortions.
His religious beliefs do not belong on the political pages.

exchange gifts until Epiphany. The Magi represent men of goodwill from every religion, come to acknowledge the messiah. They remind us that at last, under the new covenant, salvation is available to all.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. In doing so they recognised Christ's place in the Jewish tradition as a prophet, priest and king.

The Church holds that humans are descended from an exiled race of aliens called Thetans
